Recently, he has turned his focus to impactful story telling to inspire others to give back what they can for the greater good.

Jeri Howland
Jeri Howland is a fundraising and non-profit strategy leader, an entrepreneur, and 7x Ironman champion who has racked up many ultramarathon wins in her off-season. She’s also a mom, grandmother, and wife. Jeri has just joined the Sonoma County-based Climate Center, that works to rapidly reduce greenhouse gas pollution at scale, starting in California.

McKenna is the quintessential ‘ski bum’. A former Freeskiing World Tour competitor, McKenna spends most of her winter backcountry skiing and chasing snow. She works on a fishing boat in Alaska during the summer months to continue to have winters off.

For ten years, Blake has led custom, small-group cultural immersion expeditions into some of the most remote areas of Papua New Guinea. Working closely with tribes to develop itineraries that highlight the traditional knowledge of indigenous societies, he has witnessed a revival of cultural pride that has helped compel communities to resist the menacing advance of industry.

Nate is a conceptual artist; a person who devotes his energy to ideas rather than a single skill or material. He prides himself on the notion that quality is backbone of our lives. He’s a former multi-discipline member of the US Snowboard Team, X-Games alumni, a father, a mountaineer, and an Engineer/EMT for the Sun Valley Fire Department.

Gavin McClurg is no stranger to adventure and exploration. He is the 2015 National Geographic “Adventurer of the Year”, the first person to traverse the full length of the Alaska Range by foot and paraglider (unsupported), has twice circumnavigated the world by sail, and was the first American to complete the “toughest adventure race on Earth”, the Red Bull X-Alps.

Hayley stuart
Hayley developed a passion for rivers as a whitewater kayaker at the age of sixteen. Kayaking in three continents exposed her to the crushing realities of mega-hydroelectric projects and their impacts on people and ecosystems. Inspired by the communities along Chile’s Maipo River, who campaigned against the Alto Maipo Hydroelectric Project, Hayley pursued studies in Environmental Science, Spanish and Anthropology at the University of Denver.

Jay Lemery, MD
Dr. Lemery is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and is Chief of the Section of Wilderness and Environmental Medicine. He is the immediate Past-President of the Wilderness Medical Society and has provided medical direction to National Science Foundation subcontractors operating at both poles, most recently serving as the EMS Medical Director for the United States Antarctic Program.

Katie is currently a lecturer in the Leadership Department of the School of Leadership and Education Sciences at the University of San Diego. Katie Zanoni holds an Ed.D. in International and Multicultural Education from the University of San Francisco (2018). Zanoni explores transformative approaches to peacebuilding, human rights, and social justice in education.
